Every month one or two instruments leave the workshop, but I don’t photograph them all – I’ve things to do! But this pair are leaving the nest this week.
This Session King tenor is heading off to the USA – mahogany back and sides, torrefied sitka spruce top, 22″ scale, tunes GDAE. I love these torrefied top guitars. So open sounding.
The little mandolin is one of my A Models – most the mandolins I make are my “Celtic F” design – but I really have a soft spot for the little A Model – such a great sounding mandolin.
