So, the body is now ready for the top. Up to this point, it all seems to go quickly. But from here on in, things slow down.
The body has been sanded, reinforced, and the interior sprayed. Now I’ll be getting on with the top which was carved several years ago.
The wenge body and New Guinea rosewood neck look really nice. The white tape is masking tape – to mask off the area the soundboard will be glued to. You don’t want the gluing surface contaminated with lacquer.
