This one shipped out today to a client in Florida. It’ll be their third Forster.
Most octave mandolins for Irish music have flat or pressed tops. This one is carved, closer to an archtop mandolin in build. The scale is 22″.
The client already has one of my guitar bouzoukis and wanted the shorter scale and lighter build.
