The Small Celtic F mandolin isn’t so small! It’s just a bit smaller than my regular mandolins which are really big. The Small Celtic F mandolin is similar in size to a Sobell mandolin. The design and construction is similar to the larger model, but the sound has more focus, with excellent projection.

The instrument pictured is the satin finish prototype. Your Small Celtic F mandolin will have a high gloss finish. The Small Celtic F mandolin back is curved rather than carved.

 

Both of the instruments featured are a satin finish prototype. As standard, the mandolin will have a gloss finish. The satin finish will be available as a cheaper option.

The Small Celtic F mandolin is shipped in a Hiscox case if available , or a plywood case in a robust plywood packing crate.

    Back and sides – there are many options - mahogany, maple, figured mahogany, wenge, ziricote or figured bubinga. The instrument pictured has Pau Ferro back and sides.
