Model D
NK Forster Model D – handmade acoustic guitar with warmth & clarity
The dreadnought, redesigned from the ground up.
WHAT IT IS
The Model D is a custom-built steel-string guitar based on the same outline as the Model S, but with a broader waist that gives it that familiar dreadnought warmth without the muddiness. It’s all the low-end body and punch you expect, with the clarity that leaves most D-style guitars behind.
WHY YOU NEED IT
You want projection without sacrificing tone.
You need a guitar that cuts in a mix but still feels nuanced when played solo.
The Model D gives you the power and bottom end of a dreadnought, with the balance of something more refined.
The D-SS version is the one to reach for whether you’re fingerpicking or flatpicking. This isn’t a CF Martin clone. It’s something new. Voiced for detail, built for performance.
WHAT YOU GET
A custom Model D-SS tailored to your playing style.
Warmth and projection with real clarity.
Premium tonewoods and expert voicing.
A lifetime warranty.
